The Baja Animal Sanctuary is home to over 300 canine residents! If you are looking for just the right addition to your family, we invite you to drive down to the sanctuary and meet our furry residents. If you are unable to make the drive down to the sanctuary, here are a few  of our wonderful canine friends who are looking for loving homes. We also conduct adoption events at the Vista and Murphy Canyon, California PetSmart and Petco stores. Call one of our representatives in your area for dates and times.

	"Orejas" is a 4 year old tan/black long-haired male, Shepherd/Retriever X "Orejas" is missing one ear, gets along well with all dogs, but is hearing impaired.  He is loving, playful, and adorable!		White mom/terrier mix, with her "brood" of puppies.  This mamma came to BAS pregnant. Her pups are now 5 weeks old, and look to be mostly Labrador.
	Letty is a white 3 year old female, missing right front leg.  A Dalmatian/Shepherd. mix,  "Letty" gets on well with male dogs, but may be too alpha to be with females.  Very sweet, playful, and doesn't know she's missing a limb.		Paco is a yellow shorthair Sharpei/Beagle X.  Paco was born at BAS about 2 yrs. ago.  His mom "Coquetta" is a beagle mix.  Paco is a friendly, happy young guy, and would fit into any loving environment with children and other dogs
	Tanya is a 7 month old Shepherd/Dobi X.  Tanya is very playful and affectionate, loves going for walks and is great on leash.  She likes people and children, and would do well with any family.		Contact us for more information on this dog.
	Peaches is a 2 year old Lab/Terrier X.  She is a very loving and happy girl.  She has had a rough start in life and does not feel comfortable around kids.  This however can be overcome with time and love.		Randy was born in February, 04.  He is an active Lab/Shepherd X.  He is paper trained.  He has some food aggression, and does not like all dogs. Though he is shy, Randy likes puppies, older dogs and kids.

	Contact us for more information on this puppy.		Frankie is a very friendly black/tan shorthair Shepherd X, he is now approx. 2 yrs. old, and weighs only 35 lbs.  He was found with a wire imbedded in his throat.  Surgery was required to remove the wire and he still bares the scars of this injury.
Dogs with Special Needs
	Rudy is about two years old and appears to be an Irish Wolfhound X.  Rudy limps due to back problems and is very afraid of people.  He comes from an abusive family and needs to be placed in a special home that will give him lots of love and attention.
